My bucket list started out pretty simply. I wanted to see the world.
Then someone introduced me to the idea of using extreme sports to strengthen my resolve, build confidence and prove to myself that I could do hard things.
That changed everything.
Before long, my bucket list wasn’t just about where I wanted to go. It became about what I wanted to experience.
I started saying yes to things that sounded exciting, challenging, slightly crazy or completely outside my comfort zone. Sometimes the goal was to conquer a fear. Sometimes it was to test myself. And sometimes it was simply because I thought, Why not? That sounds like fun!
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with trying just about anything once for the experience.
Please take a look at my list. Some things might surprise you, some might make you laugh, and a few may leave you wondering what on earth I was thinking.
That’s part of the fun.
