True North Publishing began with a simple goal: to help business owners make smarter decisions when leasing or purchasing commercial real estate. As the founder of Compass Commercial and a veteran of over 1,700 transactions I was frequently asked to give talks specifically online about how to navigate the complexities of commercial space selection. During these sessions, I expected to be speaking directly to business owners, but as time went on I noticed a trend: many of the attendees were new commercial agents or residential real estate agents trying to transition into the commercial side of the business. They were hungry for practical, real-world knowledge, something I had spent decades acquiring but rarely was taught in any structured way, that realization was the spark to start True North Publishing.
Our Mission
Our mission quickly expanded from education for business owners to creating tools, training and content specifically designed to fill the knowledge gap in commercial real estate. We now offer books, CE-approved courses, calculators, downloadable resources and one-on-one consulting—all built with the same goal: to help people thrive in the world of commercial real estate with confidence and clarity.
